Recommend Treatment For IBS Infections
What are the symptoms of infection with this organism? IBS like: large amount of gas multiple stools daily some in large amts some small, usually loose. And fatigue. I am 59yo male, weigh 180LBS. I have been struggling with these symptoms for over a year and had a stool test done awhile ago that showed positive for this organism. At the time I did take anti bacterials; oregano,goldenseal and colloidal silver. I also have taken probiotics, enzymes and have eliminated gluten, eggs, dairy and soy all allergens I tested positive for. And I am still symptomatic and went back to the stool test wondering whether I still have something. The stool test was also positive for an unidentified parasite. Any help would be appreciated. Nick

Based on facts of your query and the probable stool test reports,I suggest you to treat this IBS with following-
Bland liquidDiet 1week
followed by semisolid bland diet x 1-2 weeks
Then followed by-Solid Diet-x 2-4 weeks
Avoid intolerant food till 6 weeks.
Plenty of fluids
Tab Imodium 2 times a day x 5 days
Tab Ciplox -500 mg 2 times
Tab Metornidazole x 10 days
Tab Zincovit 1 x 3 weeks
Stop all other medicines and nutritional supplements, which you take.
