Recovering From TIA. Confusion, Changed Facial Expressions. Normal MRI And CT Scan Of The Heart
Hi, Thank you for posting your query. Transient ischemic attack is the most likely possibility, and sometimes, minor stroke may show up on MRI brain. Seizures are the another possibility, which can be confirmed with EEG. In addition, we should also exclude electrolyte abnormalities such as low sodium, which can also cause confusion. Best wishes, Dr Sudhir Kumar MD DM (Neurology)
