Recurring Fistula Even After Operation. What Could Be The Best Solution?

Hello Doctor, My Father is suffering from Fistula and Operated twice in 10 months... and now again the problem is repeated and need surgery.... will u plss suggetst best solution for this not to occur repeatedly....just 2 months back it self he was operated second time. as of now he is badly suffering and not able to sit... plss give me suggestion

Hello
Sorry to see that the fistula is back.
Has he any other associated morbidity - like diabetes?
It is notorious for recurrence - especially if there is added bowel problem.
Proper drainage and a good antibiotic - with clean perineum and normal bowel habits - reduce the chance of recurrence.
You may try a second opinion and surgery by a different surgeon
