Recurring Persistent Cough, Mucus. No Help From Z Pac. Possible Chronic Bronchitis?

I think I have chronic bronchitis; two or three times a year I develop a persistent cough. I have never smoked. one doctor told me years ago that I had bronchitis, but I was not treated. It appears to get worse with each attack. I have tried the Z-Pac and it did appear to help somewhat, but not much the last time. I had mucus for over 4 or 5 weeks which left me tired and restless, up coughing all night. Please advise,as I am starting to feel these symptions again. Thanks in advance. Valerye Hall
