Red Rashes On Waist, Armpits, Elbows, Knees Including Heavy Chest, Cough, Runny Nose With Yellow Mucus

Ive developed a rash, starting on the front of my waist, now under armpits, inside elbows, behind knees and down forearms, among a few other random places down the leg. There are no bumps or blisters, just raised red areas, almost swelling, with no consistency in size or shape. Some of the areas itch but are not incredibly irritating. I developed some sort of respiratory infection just days prior to the rash developing, including a heavy chest, cough, runny nose with bright yellow mucus.

Hi

You seem to have developed a rash of pityriasis rosea.
This type of skin rash can occur following a respiratory infection.
It is a self limiting skin condition which can take turn six to eight weeks for complete recovery.
You can take some oral antihistamines to relieve the associated itching.
Sometimes application of topical steroids can be done if there is too much having.
You should see a nearby dermatologist for the same.

Hope it helps
