Reddish Dots On The Penis. Urine Test Done. Prescribed With Candid Cream, Syscan And Cinmox. What Are These For?
Hi, I went to a General Practitioner for the complaint: minute red dots on my penis head and a red patch in circle shape on my penis outer skin. He asked me to get the lab test report - urine and bed for HIV1 and 2. Though the report was non-reactive, I was prescribed the following medicines: CINMOX CV 650 Mg table - 10 nos for 5 days, SYSCAN 150 Mg tablet - 10 nos for 5 days and an injection Gentamycin 80 Mg for 5 days, and candid cream. Please advise me whether to take the medicines or not?
Hi, Welcome to HCM, After going through your history, you seem to have fungal infection and some bacterial infection there. This is good you have tested negative for herpes 1 & 2. The medicines are antibiotics covering Gram positive and negative microorganism and systemic antifungal drug. Please take your treatment as advised by your physician and if you have any allergy or undesirable effect please visit your Physician. You should have faith in your Physician. If your problem persists than you should visit to Dermatologist to take opinion. Please take care. Good Luck Dr.Akhilesh Dubey M.D.
