Redness, Achy Place On Bottom Of Foot, Hurts To Walk. Have Diabetes, On Warfarin For Atrial Fib. Possible Blood Clot?

A place on the bottom of my foot is red and is aching and hurts to walk on it. I have type 1 diabetes and take Warfarin for atrial Fib. I don't think the place on my foot is a bruise since I don't remember hurting my foot. I am a 77 years old female. Is there any chance that it could be a blood clot? Thanks for a reply.

Hi,
It seems that you might be having diabetes neuritis causing this problem.
In diabetics there is a risk of having diabetic foot as well.
Consult physician and get examined.
Ok and take care.
