Rolled Ankle, Pain In The Bend Of Ankle, Unable To Put Pressure On It. Do I Have A Sprain?
I rolled my ankle and fell at work and now I have server pain on the inside of my ankle and at the bend of my ankle and can t put pressure on it with out it hurting. I have had two surgeries on this ankle and broke it before. I had problems with it giving out on me after my surgeries. Do I have a sprain or could there be something else wrong?
Welcome to HCM. Most likely it is due to muscle sprain. There is over stretching of muscle with unequal body weight on it. Apply ice 3 to 5 times a day. Start nsaid with serratiopeptidase. Intra muscular injection of nsaid is advisable if pain is severe. Apply 4 inch elasto bandage on it during movement. Avoid any extra weight bearing on it,Keep your leg raised as much as possible. Consult your orthopedician for proper diagnosis and medications.
