Screws In Hip, Pain. What Do I Need To Do?

Hello, I had screws put in my right hip 25 years ago and more recently I was told by that the bones where the scews are is not as strong anymore but my concern is regarding a fall. I exercise daily and run 3 miles I fell down the carpenter stairs in my home. I fell more to the right of my hip and butt. The pain is not constant. I can t put pressure on my butt evenly because of the pain. I am sitting leaning to the left. What do I need to do? I have taken ibuprofen for the pain but how will I know if anything is broken or fractured? Thx for your time.
