Seborrheic Dermatatis Of Scalp From 15 Years. What Is The Cure ?

my name is yahya am from lahore , pakistam.my age is 26 years.i am suffering from this disease from 15 years now.i have visited many dermatologists but of no use. i have used salicyclic acid,selun blue,ketraconazole shampoos,i have also used hydrozol cream,i have used itraconazole tablets for 14 days.but after a certain period of time thick scales again came and became my hairs dull and dry.what should i do?please guide me.regards,yahya

Welcome to HealthcareMagic forum,
Good that you have mentioned all that you have already tried.They do work for seb dermatitis.One thing that you have not mentioned is isotretenoin tablets.This tablet is excellent for excess oil secretion and acne,but needs lot of precautions and blood investigations.Otherwise its a safe and good drug.Most important of all in this is that one should not get pregnant during the course of the medicine.Talk in details about this medicine with your dermatologist .You can also try cyclopiroxiolamine shampoo for the same.Try topical steroids too which are safe and good.
