Second Pregnancy, Presently Having Hypo Echoic Nodule In Uterine Myometrium, Previously Undergone Myomectomy For Fibroid Removal.Foetal Normal Heart Rate.

respected sir, I am from India. This is my second pregenancy in which I am having a small hypo echoic nodule in the anterior aspect of uterine myometrium(size26x27mm). During my first pregnancy I also had fibroid of size 18 cms But I gave birth to a baby by ceasarian and after two months I was undergone myomectomy to remove that fibroid. But now I am scared that again I am having a fibroid along with foetus which normal with heart rate of 176/min. Will It be difficult for me during this pregnancy as i have already undergone myomectomy. Will I give birth to the baby successfully. Kindly clarify my doubts and help me.

Hi. I have read your query. Fibroid normally don't cause any problems with the pregnancy. However you might face problems with the delivery. Since you have had a cesarean before and then myomectomy, you will have to deliver this baby with a C-section as well around 38 weeks before the labor starts.
You can't have a normal vaginal delivery as your myomectomy and cesarean can cause uterine rupture during labor, so, elective c-section is the only option.

I hope my answer addresses your concerns

Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
WOuld you be able to tell me the operative details of the previous myomectomy ?
Maybe if you could upload the discharge card of the previous surgery at -

If the endometrial cavity was breached, then you should be very careful this time.
A planned Cesarean section is best in viw of previous CS and previous scarred uterus due to myomectomy.
Also, this time around, the small fibroid nodule is very tiny.
It cannot present any problems during delivery with this current size.
I think that you would be able to safely have a planned Cesarean section.
This is because the fibroid is very small.
All the best.
