This could be due to various reasons like stroke, infection, injury, cancer etc. The exact diagnosis can only be made after conducting a few laboratory and radiological tests. Physical examination of the patient is also of utmost importance here. As he has become forgetful also, it could also be due to the above mentioned reasons or even Alzheimer s.
