Semi-deep Laceration, Swelling On Knee Cap, Patella, Lack Of Motion, Skin Tight, Sensitive. Applied Peroxide, Silver Salve. Treatment?
Yesterday, I fell on an aluminum ladder suffering a semi-deep laceration across the knee, medium swelling around the knee cap, patella, and back of the knee, and pronounced lack of motion laterally & medially. My skin is very, very tight, highly sensitive, and it all has me concerned. I have used peroxide and silver salve on the wounds. What else other than going to the hospital for x-rays, can I do?

There is no role for self care management in case of deep lacerations around knee joint.
You could have suffered injuries to the nerves, tendons, ligaments and other soft tissues around the knee. So a detailed examination by a qualified doctor is needed to estabish the diagnosis.
