Sensitive To Cold Over Entire Lifetime. Several Tests Done, Cause Not Found. Recommendations?

My Aunt at 80 has always been sensitive to being cold her entire life. She wears layers of clothing in the summer living in Florida and can not be in air conditioning without all over pain from being too cold. What could be causing this? I would like to help her. Her doctors have run tests on her (like thyroid, etc) through the years and have not come up with an answer. Thank you....

Welcome to HCM. Consulting a Geriatric specialist would help.Babies and elder lose heat through the skin as they lack body fat.Congestive heart failure,Anaemia, poor circulation, thyroid and adrenal insufficency all add up to feeling cold in the elderly.Drugs like betablockers, narcotics ,phenothiazines and benzodiazepines further add to the problem.
