Sever Upper Right Glut Pain That Runs Down Hamstring To Knee

I am having sever upper right glute pain that runs down the hamstring to the knee when I stand. After sitting or lying down I get up and the pain hits. Usually it doesn't last long and the more I'm on my feet it usually goes away. I'm just not sure the cause or the way to get rid of this...

I have gone through your query. Your problem is most likely due to sciatic nerve compression.Usually it is caused by herniated disc, spondylolisthesis or inflammation. A X ray of lumbosacral spine followed by an MRI of that if necessary will be done to rule out that.Analgesics like NSAIDs, opioids and muscle relaxants are given and physiotherapy is also recommended for treatment.If all these dont help then can go for surgical decompression of nerve.
