Severe Bleeding. Beta Serum Negative. Any Suggestions?

Hi I missed my period 2 weeks ago. Had 3 negative pregnancy test so I decided to start testing for ovulation. I got a positive last friday. Last night I got my period and now i am getting a heavy period with large long blood clots. Why did I get a positive ovulation test if i got my period a week later.
PS My beta serum test came back negative.What is going on with me?

Hello,
You are not pregnant. The ovulation can be delayed sometime and thats not a problem. Since your period was delayed, thats why this time your bleeding is heavier that normal. Your period may have been delayed due to stress or hormonal imbalance. Nothing to worry about unless it happens repeatedly.
