Severe Bleeding, Abdominal Cramps. Taking Primolut. Is It Normal?
I am taking primolut n 3 x a day for 10days, that was prescribed by my doctor since i am experiencing heavy bleeding for almost two weeks, my mestruation stopped but there are some spotting still, it just happened that today was my 5th day of taking the medication and suddenly i bleed again, though it's not that heavy but i though that my bleeding is over, and i am also experiencing abdominal cramps is it normal?
If you alter the time of intake of the primulot tablets, that can lead to withdrawal bleeding. So you have to take the tablets at the same time everyday to prevent these complications. Possibly the spotting will completely subside after completion of the tablets. Then in the next cycle if the same thing repeats you have to get evaluated to fond out the cause for your menorrhagea. If hormonal imbalance was found to be the cause you may need few more cycles of progesterone pills.
