Severe Bruise In Buttocks Region After Falling Down. An Indent, Lump Present. Haematoma? How To Remove?

Hi Im 19 years old,
I fell down the stairs and got severe bruising across the buttocks region,
Its been 2 months now, and the bruising is gone, but have an indent and also a lump in the area i fell on.
I went to the doctor and they said it may be a haematoma.
Its very annoying and visible through clothing, Was wondering how to get rid of the lump and restore the muscle indent? Would physio Therapy help? Or massages? Please let me know the fastest way to get rid of this! Thank you

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hi, thanks for writing to HCM.

Physiotherapy will not resolve the hematoma. Moist heat fomentation will be of some help.

If you want it to get disappear in a faster way, it has to be drained surgically and a pressure bandage is to be applied inorder to prevent recurrence.

Hope this information is helpful. Good day
