Severe Burning In And Around Knee With Redness And Swelling Post Knee Arthroscopy. Normal?

I had Knee Arthroscopy last Thursday. It has been very painful but this evening I have a severe burning sensation inside my knee and around. It seems to be red and swelling , Its really very uncomfortable and I am a little worried is this normal. ? I have tried putting an frozen peas on to cool it and prevent swelling (I do not have ice burn)

After operative procedure some swelling and redness is common due to inflammation from tissue handling.

If it is more and persist , it might be a sign of some infection.I would suggest getting this evaluated by your surgeon for detailed examination and appropriate management.
