Severe Burning Sensation In Groin While Walking. History Of Bilateral Hernia Repair. Advice
I just had a bilateral hernia repair- (5 days ago). All is well now except for one thing. I feel an unbearable burning sensation down the groing (on the left hand side) a few moments after I start walking. When I sit down again everthing returns to normal. I was asked to move as much as possible but with this pain its impossible to do so. Any hints please?
I understand your concerns. I am glad that you have had a successful surgery to repair the bilateral inguinal hernia. I am sure it will take some time to heal and would like to reassure you that paraesthetic sensations like burning, during the healing process is very common. I believe that you are going to have a very good response to medications such as pregabalin or gabapentin which will help reduce the burning sensation. I hope this helps.
Take care and have a lovely day!
