Severe Chest Pain, Breast, Wrist Pain. Could It Be A Symptom Of The Menopause?
I am experiencing chest pain , not severe but quiet uncomfortable, this pain travels up to lef t bone leading to my neck and shoulder and travels down my left arm to my hand, it can also be in the breasts, the most uncomfortable pain is in my left wrist and left hand, could it be a symptom of the menopause , I am 45 and have sporadic periods?

Hello, Thanks for writing to us These symptoms not seems to be related to menopause. According to your symptoms it looks like there is compression of nerve in cervical [neck area] spine. This leads to radiation of pain in your hand. Most probable reason for your symptoms could be postural problem . You may need to take x ray spine to see for severity of nerve compression. Some medication like methylcobalamine with muscle relaxant and analgesic will help, you can take them consulting your treating doctor.
