Severe Diarrhea After Eating Anything, Worse With Food High In Fat. Gall Bladder Removed. Digestive Disorder?

Hello my name is XXXXXX and I have a question about bowl movements. It seems that since I have had my gall bladder removed things have changed drastically as far as my bowl movements. It seems that more so lately, I have been getting diarrhea almost immediately after I eat and some fatty foods make it worst than others. I am concerned that I may have IBS or Crohns Disease .

Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.

After gall bladder removal, it is common to have digestive problems. Having loose stools after fatty foods is a very common problem after gall bladder surgery. So, you don't have to worry about IBS or Crohn's disease.

These symptoms should slowly come down with time. I would advise you to cut down on oily or fatty foods for a while. Also, avoid large meals at a time and space out your meals evenly.

Wish you all the best.
