Dear Doctor, I have been prescribed Levogold 100mg. I am suffering from severe gas trouble, kindly confirm whether this medicine is suitable. Also, your advise is solicited.

This is LEVOSULPRIDE and is used in patients suffering from dyspepsia.
This drug is a pro kinetic and promotes gastric emptying and is more helpful in patients suffering from reflux esophagitis.
If this medicine has been prescribed to you by your doctor,then do take it otherwise there are various antacids available as OTC product for general acidity and bloating.
You may take OMEPRAZOLE OR PANTOPROZOLE for that purpose.
