Severe Headache. History Of Tonsils And Less Space In Right Nose For Air Passage. No Relief From Neti Pot. Any Home Remedies?

Hi Doctor,
I have nasal deformity and my right nose has very less space for air passage. I used to suffer a lot from tonsils previously, when I was in India. Now, I am 23 and in USA and I am having headaches since two weeks. I am just not able to find out the exact reason for my headaches. These headaches are mild but continuous and I have to shrink my fore head all the time. Can you please suggest some home remedies. I think its sinus pressure but I tried Neti pot a lot of time but I can't see any results.

Hi,

Your history is consistent with headache secondary to upper airway disease

You need to have short course antibiotics (Augmentin preparation)

Otrivin saline drops TID

Decongestants for 5 days

steam inhalation TID with vicks

Avoid cool drinks

Consult ENT surgeon for the above planned medicines. You may require CT Paranasal sinus for further management
