Severe Headache When Outside In Sun. Why Has It Started Now After All These Years?

Hi I am 35 year old female and recently started having severe headache at the back of the head when out on sun for more then 5 min , had blood test results fine but still have same pain only started recently is there something I should be worried about my doctor says I am allergic to direct sunlight but why has it just started now after all these years?

Try to find out factors which precipitate headache in your case and prevent yourself from these precipitating factors.

Common precipitating factors for migraine:
-Stress and anxiety: Stress or psychological upset was the commonest triggering factor
-Increasing physical activity
-change in weather
-fasting
-Sunlight
-Some food items

Relieving factors:
-NSAID medicines
-Sleep

Before diagnosing migraine. It is better to get yourself evaluated by general physician to rule out other causes of headache (specially high blood pressure) and then seek consultation according to his recommendation.
