Severe Headaches, Neck Pain. Taken Paracetamol, Ibuprofen. Will This Help?

Hi I have been having severe headache on the left side of my head and also the neck . I take 1000 mg paracetamol for it. But it doesnt work. I had to take 500mg paracetamol and 500 mg ibuprofen and that used to help take away the ache. But recently even this combination is not working. I dont know what else to do. Pls advise.

Hello, thanks for using HCM.
Headaches are a common day to day complain and in as much as they could just be primary and responding to normal pain killers like paracetamol and ibuprofen, they may as well be indicative of serious secondary causes that require more attention.
It is important to visit a doctor so that if there is any secondary cause of the headaches, it should be sorted out and the underlying condition treated.
Affections such as dental problems, sinusitis, visual accommodation defects, space occupying lesions in the brain could possibly account for persistent headaches that are increasing in intensity and resisting pain killers. Paracetamol and ibuprofen combination forms a potent pain killer.
Best regards
