Severe Mosquito Bites On Body And All Over Face. On Antihistamines. Advice

Hello I just not long came back from Greece I am from Scotland was I hospital on drips on Greece because of my bites I have a lot of moskito bites that are not going away and I am afraid they might scar I can't wear any type of dresses. As they are all so bad and my doctor just keeps giving me anti histamine any advice on what I should do also. They are all over my face which is even worse

Hello,

Thanks for posting on HCM,

If you are certain that they are mosquito bites then it should not be any big issues getting rid of the inflammations caused by the bites. Oral steroids (such as dexamethasone or prednisolone) could help with these kind of lesions better than antihistamines.
You could also use antiseptic soaps for body wash daily.
If there are certain parts of the body where the lesions are concentrated then you should use topical steroids (such as betamethasone).
See a dermatologist if lesions persist despite above treatment as it could be another dermatological disorder which is no longer mosquito bites.
