Severe Neck Pain, Headache, Difficulty In Focusing. Cause?
Hi. For quite a while now I've been getting neck pain. My neck feels really tight to move and makes a kind of crunching sound, like my bones are rubbing on each other when I move my head. The pain can get quite bad and gives me a headache every time. Painkillers often don't do anything really and heat makes it feel better. When I have the neck pain, I can't seem to focus my eyes properly some times either. Any ideas what could be causing this?
The symptoms of neck pain, neck muscle stiffness suggest strain.
Strain is caused due to muscle pull or muscle stretching.
Rest to the muscles and muscle relaxants will be of help. hot fomentation can be continued.
Consult a physicain for clinical examination and prescription of appropriate medication.
The head ache can be associated with the neck muscle pain.
The inability to focus eyes properly can be due to refractive error.
You need to visit an ophthalmologist for checking the refraction of eyes.
Thanks and take care.
