Severe Pain And Stiffness In Both Knees. Change Of Medicine From Neurontin To Aleve. Recommendations?

I have severe pain and stiffness in both of my knees. When I sit for more than 10 minutes, it's very hard to just get up and move around. My doctor suggested taking Aleve because I asked if I could be taken off of Neurontin because I was not seeing any results. I am 43 and I want to be able to move around without crying or not moving at all.

Hi,
it seems that you might be having osteoartheritis changes in your knee joints giving rise to pain and stiffness of joints.
You can take Aleve capsules for relieving pain and stiffness.
This will give temporary relief from pain.
Do physiotherapy regularly.
Do patellar exercise regularly 2-3 times a day.
Avoid squatting position.
Do not bend your joint more.
Take calcium and vitamin A and D supplements.
Consult orthopedic surgeon and get examined.
Ok and take care.
