Severe Pain And Stiffness In Ear, Head, Temple And Jaw. Pain In Neck And Shoulders. History Of Having Long Phone Calls. Guide

i used to have long phone calls with my friend... now im experiencing heavy earache an pain at the upper left side of my head and in the temple and upper jaw area....when i press my ear a lot of pain is released...same happens when i touch at the back of my ear...due to this my neck n shoulders hv also started paining....one more thing when i wake up in the morning i feel hell lot of stiffness in my ears n head...i dont know what im upto plz help me :(

Hello...
The symptoms as mentioned in your post may be due to:

1. Infection/inflammation in the ear.
2. Upper respiratory tract infection spreading to the ear.
3. Intake of drugs which can cause damage to the hearing apparatus (Ototoxic drugs)
4. Systemic causes like abnormalities in blood pressure or blood sugar levels.
5. Prolonged phone calls leading to fatigue of the concerned muscle groups.

So...it will be better to consult an ENT specialist & get a proper physical examination done.
Intake of self medication or OTC drugs may be harmful in this regard.
