my 4 year old had an incident at daycare she says she hit a table or hit her head somehow now exactly sure the true story, but has had severe pain and has been non stop holding her right ear. I touched her ear and i felt a fast pulse behind at the bottom of her ear and also that part is feeling hot. I put some ice gave her some advil, what else should i do. She has seen a doctor and her doctor said muscle spasm. Im thinking it may be more than that.?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Continue with ice fomentation and give acetaminophen for pain relief.
Wait for 24 hours and in case symptoms persist get her re evaluated by doctor.
Hope this helps.
