Severe Pain In Left Side Near Waist, Reoccurring. Using Heating Pads. What Could Be This?
I have a severe pain that begins in my left side neare my waist it spreads about 6 inches toward my back then it works its way up my side to under my ribs I use a heating pad and that healps some but pain meds do nothing It hurts wheI move and when I cough. This same thing has happened twice about one week apart What can cause this

The severe pain on the left side near the wast could be a muscular pain or due to an intra abdominal pathology. This could be due to a renal calculus also. You need to get an ultrasound scan done to detect.
