Severe Stomach Cramps, Constipation, Stools With White Mucous, Pain In Arm, Palpitation. What Could Be This?
i have been experiencing severe stomach cramps and constipation and my stools have had white mucus in them for a while now and today its bloody. I'm also experiencing palpitations and pain in my arms, dizzy spells and constantly tired I have no idea if all of these are linked but I getting worried because its been going on for at least 2 weeks or more
You definitely should visit your doctor and have proper diagnostics. Blood in stool, mucus in stool, constipation, abdominal pain sounds like large intestine problem. It can be bowels obstruction due to inflammatory bowels disease (Crohns disease) or colon cancer. Tiredness, pain in arms is most likely a result of low hemoglobin level and ions deficiency.
As it lasts 2 weeks, and does not seem to get better, you should visit your doctor right away.
Blood work, abdominal ultrasound and abdominal X-ray should be done at first. Next step should be colonoscopy.
Hope this will help.
Regards.
