Severe Stomach Pain. Taken Medication, Having Withdrawal Symptoms. How Long Will It Take To Detox?

Doctor, my mother is 70 years old and has been in great health all of her life. On June 15, she had to go to the emergency room suffering from horrible stomache pains. After weeks of testing, nothing appears wrong with her stomach. However, the meds they gave her, (diflucan, zofran, nexium, prilosec, prevacid) left her in worse shape than ever. Her doctor told her to quit the meds cold turkey because they weren't helping. Now, she is suffering terribly from withdrawal symptoms. How long does it take to detox?

This may not be withdrawal of medicine unless the medicine contains such ingredient which causes the symptoms, it should have been discussed with the doctor before stop it, the drug which causes the withdrawal syndrome should never be stop abruptly, but it should be taken in tapper manner and if it is being stop suddenly then it should be started again and the dosage should be adjusted in tapper manner, have discus it with your doctor who advised to stop the drug, Good day.
