Sharp Pain In The Shoulder While Moving. Pain Radiating To The Elbow, Numbness In Hand, Swollen Thumb. Cause?

For the past 3 days I have been getting a sudden sharp pain in my neck/ shoulder when I move into different positions, I also have pain associated down the back of my arm around my elbow and then some numbness in my hand. Today I woke up with a very sore thumb, swollen and a numb tight feeling has lasted all day. Any ideas?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The symptoms that you have described can be due to an inflamed shoulder bursa, frozen shoulder or a pinched nerve. You need to get it examined from an orthopedician and get anti inflammatory medicines prescribed.
