Sharp Stomach Pains, Uncontrollable Sweating, Hot Flashes, Nausea, Dizziness, Diarrhea. What Could This Be?

Hello, my name is Jessie, I m 19. Last night I woke up with sharp stomach pains, uncontrollable sweating, hot flashes, nausea , dizziness and diarrhea . While using the bathroom I felt dizzy, almost like I was about to pass out and I only felt better at the moment if I put a cold rag on my face, chest and back. But after using the bathroom I had felt better. Please, this really scared me and I need to know what this could possibly be and what I can do to prevent it. Thank you.

Hello Good Evening,

Your symptoms are suggestive of Acute Gastroenteritis i.e. acute bacterial or viral or parasitic infection of stomach and intestine.

Nothing to worry big, just go to your GP for management if symptoms persists.

Your medications should be follows:

1. Tab. Ofloxacin+Ornidazole
2. Cap. Pantoprazole+Domperidone
3. Cap. Lactic acid bacillus

But exact management will be decided by your GP after go through your investigations and clinical examination.

For prophylaxis you should:
-avoid unhygienic and raw food, contaminated water;
-keep habit of proper hand washing before food and after defecate
-keep good sanitation around you.
