Shin Numbness, Tingling Sensation, No Pain, No Fever

I currently have had right shin numbness the past week. It only goes from around my knee down to the top of my ankle and only in the front of my leg. It does have a tingling sensation when shaving over the area. I have not started any type of new exercise routine or changed any daily routine. It has no pain, fever, or prevent me from walking. Should I see my primary doctor or wait it out?
