As you suspect, the most likely cause of your symptoms could be a slipped lumbar disc. For confirmation of diagnosis, an MRI of lumbar spine can be done.

Shooting Pain From Lower Back To Leg, Difficulty Walking. Spinal Problems?
Hi, Thank you for posting your query. As you suspect, the most likely cause of your symptoms could be a slipped lumbar disc. For confirmation of diagnosis, an MRI of lumbar spine can be done. For pain relief, you may take pregabalin or gabapentin capsules. Physiotherapy is also useful. Wishing you good health, Dr Sudhir Kumar MD DM (Neurology) Senior Consultant Neurologist
