Shortness Of Breath When Talking

I suffer from shortness of breath when talking but not when im walking or not even when going up and down the stairs. I was never a smoker and i dont have asthma . What could be causing my breathlessness? I am in my late 40 s, male, 5,10 tall, and i weigh about 195 lbs, medium build, asian.
