Should 2nd Opinion Be Sought For Putting 2 Anchors In The Tendon After Separation Of The AC Joint?

i recently failed and injured my right shoulder. The hospital took exrays and said that I had seperated my AC Joint.Thereafter I got a MRI (authorogram) and the doctor informed me that he want to do surgery. The doc. would put 2-anchors on the tendons, Do I need a second opinion?

You can take second opinion or you can send your MRI report to me. AC joint separation require surgery if injury is above grade 3. And without putting anchor also surgery is possible. So i would suggest you to show to a sports medicine expert and confirm the need of anchors.
