Should Avapro And Olmesartan Medoxomil Be Taken Together?
My husband was on Diovan and as you probably know this has been found out that it causes cancer. We received a medicine called Avapro 150mg. From express scrips ordered by his Dr. and today he received a call from CVS to pick up his medicine he picked it up and it is Olmesartan Medoxomil 20mg. Is he suppose to take both of these?
If it is different kind of molecule than what the doctor suggested then it is advisable not to take the medicine, if both the drug have the same molecule and different brand name then better not to take both the medicine, only thing to remembered and that is the molecule should be same with same weight, and it has to be prescribed by doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
