Should Colchisin And Allopurinol Be Stopped Before The Scheduled Trus With A Biopsy?

Hi, Im scheduled for a TRUS with a biopsy this Thursday. Currently I am taking both colchisin and alipurinol on a daily basis. The info booklet they provided says to stop taking arthritis medicine 10 days before the procedure but does not list either of these drugs in the book. Will this be an issue?

Not much, but check with the people doing the biopsy. Many arthritis medicines are aspirin and make bleeding worse. These are not aspirin like and do not increase bleeding.
