respected sir my mother 72 years suffering from DM TYPE 2,RA,OSTEOPOROSIS.DR.RECOMMENDED FOR TOTAL KNEE REPLACEMENT.NOW SHE HAS Hb 10.5.WE ARE USING DEOXRANGE AFTER FOOD TWICE A DAY.plse guide me sir whether deoxrange to be taken after food or before food.she is on pain killers on methotextrate,acetace,ultramed,prednisoline,supracal k2,

Coming to your question, deoxrange contains iron supplements and it is best absorbed when taken with vitamin C. So i would advise you to take deoxrange along with food containing vitamin C and avoid tea or coffee while taking iron, because tea or coffee will reduce its absorption. You can also increase the legume intake in your food before taking iron.

So mostly iron is taken best with foods having vitamin C and legumes, while it is least absorbed when taken along with tea or coffee.
