Should Fosamax Or Prolia Be Taken For The Treatment Of Osteoporosis?

I am overwhelmed about exercises and what medication to take. I am working out with a band and dumbells. Hoping it is enough. I was prescribed Fosamax 70mg tab one time a week. The side affects scare me! My Dr. told me to research and see if I would be more comfortable with Evista or Prolia. I am on Coumadin for A Fib. Prolia sounds not so frightening. I was a nurse for 20 years and never heard good things about Fosamax. Advice?
