Should I Be Concerned About A Boil In Bum Which Bursts Blood And Pus?
I have had a boil on my bum for about 3 years now. It swells and then bursts blood, a lot of really red blood and pus, but mostly blood. Sometimes it gets as big as a small lemon. It doenst hurt but I never know when it is going to leak and its very embarrassing. Should I be concerned. I am a 54 year old woman.

These are deep bacterial infections.
Treatment is with antibiotics but the choice of antibiotics should be based on culture and sensitivity tests.
