Should I Be Concerned About A Painful Hard Red Bump On The Stomach Of 2 Year Old?

Hello, Yesterday my 2 year old son had a pimple looking bump on his stomach, about an inch and a half below his belly button. Now there is no white head but it really hard and red. He says it hurts when ever i try to look at it. What can it be and should i take to get seen right away?

Thanks and welcome to HCM .
Probably he is developing a foruncle due to Staphyllococcus infection.
Sometimes it may pass off of its own.
I f it is increasing in size better give antibiotic for a few days in consultation with your doctor.
