Should I Be Concerned About Cramps After Natural Menopause And Breast Cancer Treatment?

Thank you. 4 years ago I had stage 3. C breast cancer. An almost 6cm. tumor was removed from my left breast along with 19. lymph nodes. A spot was found on my escapism. After chemotherapy a nd radiation treatment the spot is no longer visible. I went through natural menopause about 10 years ago,I am now 56 years old,and am often feeling cramps. similar to cramps I would have during the time I had my menstrual cycles..should I be concerned ? I am worried that my cancer could be back. What are the symptoms ?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

Your symptoms could be related to menopause, but with your troubling history it is better to be safe than sorry.

I would advise an abdominal and pelvic CT scan, to rule out the worst and help treat you for the symptoms you are experiencing.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
