Should I Be Concerned About Painless Dark Bruise Like Discoloration Below The Knees?

Hello, Many years ago I noticed one both legs that I have a dark bruise like discoloration just below the knees. On the left knee the area is about the size of a quarter, the area on the right knee is a little smaller. They don t hurt and they have never gone away. What could this be? Is it something worth having my doctor look at? Thanks!

Hi,
From your description i get the feeling that they are capillary hemangiomas or brown moles which are innocuous.
For confirmation a dermatologist consultation is needed, who will examine, orger some tests if required and will be able to find the right diagnosis.
All the best.
