Should I Be Concerned About The Two Bouts Of Coughing Up Blood?

In the past month, I have had two coughing sessions that have made me spit up blood. Both times, it felt as if there was a rattling in my lungs; when I coughed up the blood, the rattling disappeared and I continued with life as normal. Each time, I have possible expelled enough bright red bloody mucus to fill the bottom of a drinking glass...maybe less. Currently, I'm lsuffering from a very slight fever and headache...I would wonder if I had pneumonia but, since this occured both today and almost 4 weeks ago, I would have to rule that out. I'm in my early 20s, don't smoke, and don't drink. Is this something I should be very concerned about, or should I not be too worried unless it happens again?

you need to do a chest x ray and other test because coughing up blood is not normal. It maybe an infected bronchectasy especially if you have sufferd earlier in your life, pulmonary tuberculosis or other problem. You need to investigate since coughing blood is not something not to be worried.
