Should I Be Concerned For Not Having Bowel Movement And X-ray Showed Swelling In Intestine?

my 6 year old son started feeling sick on Saturday, bad breathe, fevers. Today we took him to patient first and they said his intestine looked swollen after performing an x-ray. They mentioned to make an apt to see his primary care tomorrow. Should I wait or take him to the ER now? Im scared it might be an obstructed intestine since he ahs not had a bowel movement since Saturday nor has he farted. Thoughts?

Hi
I read carefully all your concerns and I understood your query.
If I were your physician I would recommend to go to ER.
You are saying that his intestine looked swollen on X-ray, so you need to rule out obstructive intestine by Ct scan .
Wishing fast recovery your son.
